Welcome! Have a look around our world of beautiful handwriting.

At ND Calligraphy, we believe in the power of the written word. Our relaxing classes are designed to nurture your passion for calligraphy while being kind to our planet. Every class embraces eco-friendly practices, using materials that reflect our commitment to a sustainable future.

Take time out and learn how relaxing calligraphy is...

Explore the art of modern calligraphy through uplifting classes held in Somerset, Dorset, and Cornwall. Our lessons cater to all skill levels, focusing on the traditional techniques of dip pen and ink or colourful brush pens, all while ensuring that every material used is vegan, cruelty-free and, largely, recycled. With the planet in mind, we are so happy to inform you that our lovely friends at Ryman will take all your used pens and recycle them. They also make donations to charity through their initiative - what's not to like?

Why take up calligraphy?

Learn from an experienced calligrapher who will guide you every step of the way, ensuring your growth and confidence in your skills.

We care about animals and the environment. Here at ND Calligraphy we only use materials that are vegan and cruelty-free, allowing you to create art without compromising your values.

Discover a new skill that will stay with you forever.

Calligraphy can cost as little or as much as you like but it's inexpensive to start out and you can begin with just one pen and some paper. Most students get a bit hooked and want to continue their calligraphy journey further.
